Richard explores:
✓ How meeting the person who blinded him reshaped his understanding of forgiveness
✓ What forgiveness really means beyond ideas of justice or blame
✓ How he transformed a life-altering trauma into a source of strength and purpose
✓ What it was like growing up without sight and learning to adapt to a different way of living
✓ Why holding onto resentment limits our lives more than it protects us
✓ And how perspective can completely change our experience of adversity
Richard Moore is the founder of Children in Crossfire, an organisation dedicated to supporting children affected by poverty and conflict.
Blinded at the age of 10 during the Troubles in Northern Ireland, Richard’s life took a profound turn. Rather than allowing bitterness to define him, he chose a path of acceptance, forgiveness and service.
His work today reflects a deep commitment to transforming suffering into meaningful action, improving the lives of vulnerable children across the world.
